Tour Our Child Therapy Space | A Cozy Cottage Made for Kids!

Tour Our Child Therapy Space!

With play therapy, we believe the environment is just as important as the therapy itself. That’s why we invite you to take a tour of our Child Therapy Space—a cozy, cottage-like clinic designed to feel safe, warm, and welcoming for kids and their families.

Children face struggles just like adults. Anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, OCD, sensory sensitivities, or even big family changes and trauma can weigh heavily on them. These challenges often show up in school, friendships, or at home—leaving parents unsure how to help. Play therapy offers children a safe, supportive environment where they can work through these challenges in ways that feel natural to them.

What Happens in the Play Therapy Room?

When a child steps into the play therapy room, they step into a space that is fully theirs. The room is filled with tools, toys, games, and creative outlets that allow them to process difficult emotions and experiences. Whether through board games, imaginative role-play, building worlds in a sand tray, or simply creating with art supplies, children are given the freedom to explore what they’re going through.

As a play therapist, our role is to walk alongside them in that process—to provide support, encouragement, and therapeutic tools that equip them for life’s challenges.

A Space Designed Like Home

From the beginning, our vision was clear: Therapy should feel like stepping into a home, not a clinic. Each room is colorful, warm, and inviting—helping children relax as if they’re playing at a friend’s house. Families often share how comforting the space feels, and children quickly see it as a place that belongs to them.

Involving the Whole Family

Play therapy isn’t just for children—it’s a family process. Parents are included from the very beginning through intake meetings and ongoing monthly check-ins. These conversations give us the chance to talk about what’s happening at home, what I’m noticing in therapy, and how we can work together to support a child’s progress. Parents may even be invited into the therapy room if the child chooses.

By involving the whole family, we ensure that the healing that begins in the therapy room extends into everyday life.

Taking the Next Step

If your child is facing challenges—big or small—play therapy can provide a safe and creative space for them to grow, heal, and thrive. We invite you to schedule a tour of our Child Therapy Clinic or reach out to learn more. I’d be honored to meet your family and begin this journey together.
