I have many years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in both the counseling and ministry context. I also have experience working directly with at-risk youth struggling with mental health issues, trauma, and addiction, providing individual, group, and family therapy as well as crisis intervention.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

I have a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University and a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Talbot Seminary at Biola University. Prior to this, I received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Psychology from the University of Southern California. I am currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington. I have many years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in both the counseling and ministry context. I also have experience working directly with at-risk youth struggling with mental health issues, trauma, and addiction, providing individual, group, and family therapy as well as crisis intervention.

AREAS OF FOCUS

My areas of focus include issues around anxiety, fear & worry, depression, stress, lust, sexual identity, drug, alcohol, & porn addiction, anger, shame, guilt, grief, relationships, family conflict, marital strife, parenting, abuse, and trauma.

ABOUT ME

I am married to my wife Sujin and have four children. I enjoy reading, listening to music, and playing a variety of instruments. I am also one of the pastors at a church in Bellevue and love spending time with my church family.
