JOSHUA LOY

(Owner, Supervisor)

Hi, I’m a counselor and also the Owner & Manager of New Ground Counseling. Since 2014, we have seen hundreds of clients! We’ve also found (and trained) some great counselors who believe in our unique mission to give 1) High Quality Clinical Care that is 2) uniquely Christian.

BETH SECRIST

(Redmond, Online)

My hope at New Ground is to help facilitate the personal healing and growth of clients through professional clinical care while listening intently to God’s prompting and leading. I believe the assimilation of one’s faith into the therapy conversation can lead to a more wholistic experience.

SAM CHUNG

(Bellevue, Online)

I have many years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in both the counseling and ministry context. I also have experience working directly with at-risk youth struggling with mental health issues, trauma, and addiction, providing individual, group, and family therapy as well as crisis intervention.

KAILEY COATS

(Redmond, Online)

The human experience involves oppression, loneliness, harm, and violation. It is my hope to extend a hand in times when you need someone to walk through these storms.

RO NAVARRO

(Redmond, Online)

For over a decade, I have worked in the treatment of anxiety, depression, & relationship distress. My experience includes counseling the student body at University of Washington / Cascadia College, Bothell, and working with a range of individuals & couples in medical, private, & community settings.

MICHELLE MOORE

(Snohomish, Online)

I find joy partnering with people who, while doing their best in life and relationships, may also be stuck, overwhelmed, bewildered, or devastated by some of the results. I look for a person’s true colors, as we develop a strong, effective therapeutic partnership, a proven foundation of healing, growth, and gaining the confidence to let those colors shine.

JON LEONG

(Snohomish, Online)

I have an eclectic style that has developed from growing up as a pastor’s kid in the church coupled with my education as a therapist. I believe in working towards authentic interactions in counseling and that, with help from Scripture and the Holy Spirit, people can thrive in a therapeutic relationship.

VICKIE JO

(Redmond, Online)

My hope as a counselor is to come along side others in their story with empathy and kindness. To listen well to the details and experiences that have shaped us, to reflect and sometimes challenge the assumptions we have picked up along the way, and to let God shine his light on the places He wants to bring His truth and healing. I hope to offer a space of compassion, grace and comfort that convey God’s truth in love.

AMY TSENG

(Online)

Every therapy is like an adventure in which I embark on with clients. I am passionate about creating and holding a safe space for you as you walk through life’s dark and painful seasons. I believe that change and growth take root most deeply within a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment. Working together, I aim to instill hope and help people find and live out the true identities that God calls them to be.

ANGELA BROWN

(Bellevue, Online)

I believe there is always hope - no matter how dark the night may seem. I strive to offer my clients a safe space to experience empathy, honesty, and hope, as we work together to understand what has happened and where to go from here.

JANE HSIN-YU YANG

(Redmond, Online)

There is a space for you here… a space in which you are heard, seen, and understood… a space that can house the darkest pieces of you and your story…a space in which God can reignite hope that has felt distant or lost. I invite you to come as you are and share your story. Let me hold this space for you, one in which His love leads you through self-discovery, healing, and renewal.

KELSEY GUTWEIN

(Snohomish, Online)

I believe that in great moments of challenge we can find our greatest moments of change, and I know that God will walk with us through it all. My goal in therapy is to first and foremost give you the space to come as you are and have the space to be heard, as we also remain open to hearing from the Holy Spirit. I am passionate about helping people find healing, become empowered and to walk through and overcome those things that are creating chaos in life.

NATHALIE DIDOMENICO

(Redmond, Online)

I believe we have all encountered places in which we have been violated, misused, dishonored and alone. It is my hope that by revisiting these places of hurt and shame in your life, together we can compassionately work to understand your story, your unique gifts and experience healing, repair, and hope in our shared work.

CARL DEYARMIN

(Snohomish, Online)

In Psalm 34:18, we read “The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Though written in ancient times, it springs to life in our modern age. It normalizes the realities of living in a broken world, yet it reminds us of the deliberate, redemptive work of a very good God. As a Biblical Counselor, it would be my privilege to be invited into your story and to help you find your place in God’s redemptive narrative.

DAVID POMERINKE
