MA LMHC
Angela Brown
I believe there is always hope - no matter how dark the night may seem. I strive to offer my clients a safe space to experience empathy, honesty, and hope, as we work together to understand what has happened and where to go from here.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
I received my Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. I am currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in the state of WA, working towards my full licensure as an LMHC.
I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settlings, including counseling and church ministry. I have also spent several years working with at-risk youth struggling with mental health issues, trauma, and addiction.
AREAS OF FOCUS
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what to do next, you don’t have to face it alone. I believe there is always hope - no matter how dark the night may seem. My goal is to offer a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged. Together, we work to make sense of what has happened, identify what may be keeping you stuck, and explore meaningful steps forward.

ABOUT ME
I believe that every person has a story worth telling. Before becoming a counselor, I worked as a classroom teacher, which gave me a deep appreciation for the different ways people learn, grow, and navigate challenges. That experience continues to shape how I approach counseling today—with patience, curiosity, and a desire to meet people where they are.
In our work together, I strive to create a space that feels both honest and hopeful. My role is not to “fix” you, but to come alongside you as we explore what you’re facing and identify practical tools and insights that can help you move forward.
Outside of counseling, I love spending time with my husband, Josh, and our kiddos. We enjoy going on adventures, exploring the local area, finding new coffee shops, and spending time outdoors.
