Which Therapists Are In-Network

At New Ground Counseling, almost all of our counselors are in-network with Premera (Blue Cross/Blue Shield). For other insurance companies, we are considered Out-of-Network, in which case you still may be able to be reimbursed for sessions (depending on your plan).

Insurance vs
Private Pay

For clients who want to use insurance, we offer two options:

Premera Blue Cross

Almost all of our clinicians are now in-network with Premera Blue Cross!

WHAT IF I WANT TO USE MY PREMERA INSURANCE?

πŸ›‘οΈ We are so excited to announce that some of our clinicians now accept Premera!

πŸ›‘οΈ Simply go to our Get Started Page to find a counselor and immediately start using Premera to pay for therapy!

πŸ›‘οΈ Because we limit the number of insurance clients we accept, availability for Premera sessions may vary by clinician.

Out of Network Benefits

Don’t have Premera? You can still potentially get reimbursed for therapy!

WHAT ARE OUT-OF-NETWORK BENEFITS?

✨ For most of our clinicians, we don’t bill insurance directly, you can still get automatically get reimbursed for sessions!

✨ If you have Out-of-Network Benefits, you could be reimbursed up to 80% of our therapy costs.

✨ Unlike in-network providers, who bill your insurance company directly, with out-of-network therapists, you typically pay for the session upfront and then submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement.

Do We Offer Discounts?

If cost is a concern, these might be some options:

  • Our Counseling Intern, D’Vante Rolle, currently offers sessions at $50/hour. You can read more about him on his counselor bio.

  • Some of our therapists offer discounted spots on their schedule. Although these spots are currently full, you may join the waitlist for one and we will notify you when it became available.

  • We’ve had many churches subsidize counseling for their members (i.e. the church might pay 50% or more for a certain number of sessions) as a way to get care for their congregants.  If you’re interested in this option, we’d be glad to make that request for you!
