COUNSELING INTERN
D’Vante Rolle
I work with adults navigating a variety of situations, including religious trauma, relationship strain, and identity & belonging. Many feel caught between who they were expected to be and who they're becoming, carrying church hurt or complex family messages. I enjoy working with minority emerging adults and couples seeking honest conversation, honoring both faith and doubt. Together, we untangle stuck patterns and build tools for boundaries, communication, and resilience. I specialize in religious trauma, church hurt, high-control faith, and couples work, offering warm, trauma-informed care. Reaching out is vulnerable. You don't have to sort it out alone. We'll move at your pace.
D’Vante Rolle is a counseling intern, currently in-training and finishing his Masters in Counseling. Because of this, he provides discounted services starting at $50/session.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
I am currently completing a Master of Arts in Counseling from Kairos University. I also hold a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, where my studies integrated pastoral studies and justice and advocacy, and a Bachelor of Science from Moody Bible Institute, where I studied Biblical Studies with psychology and urban ministry sprinkled in.
I serve as a pastor in the area of Outreach, where I cultivate meaningful, tangible relationships locally, nationally, and internationally, seeking to embody the presence of Jesus in everyday life. Prior to this role, I served in worship and discipleship ministries, shaping my passion for spiritual formation and community life.
Through my clinical training and formation, I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT). My work is also informed by broader frameworks such as psychodynamic therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS), allowing me to engage both present challenges and deeper patterns with care and curiosity.
MY APPROACH
In our work together, you can expect a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed space. I approach counseling from a systemic and person-centered lens, honoring your values, story, and lived experience rather than fitting you into a one-size-fits-all model. Whether you are wrestling with questions of faith, navigating relationship challenges, or recovering from burnout, I aim to offer a grounded and nonjudgmental presence.
Together, we will seek to better understand your story, notice patterns, and explore new ways of relating, to yourself, to others, and to God. I hope to create a space where you feel safe enough to ask hard questions, honest enough to face what is real, and supported enough to begin imagining what healing, growth, and hope might look like in your life.
ABOUT ME
I am joyfully married to my wife, Grace, and together we are raising our incredible child, Daisy, who keeps us grounded, laughing, and continually learning. Whether we are sharing laughter, navigating the ups and downs of parenting, or simply being present with one another, family life is where my deepest values take shape in real time. Our home is a sacred space marked by grace, growth, and a whole lot of joy.
When I am not meeting with clients, writing, preaching, leading worship, or engaging my neighbors with the love and grace of Jesus, you can often find me facilitating healing spaces, searching for a church where I can play the pipe organ (just for fun), enjoying good coffee and meaningful conversation, flying my drone, or winding down with a show alongside Grace.
