Our private-pay rates start at $165/hourly session. 

Almost all our counselors are also In-Network with Premera Blue Cross (or Lifewise).

Most of our clients pay for therapy without using insurance. However, when clients are able to pay with insurance, everyone wins! Learn about how to use you insurance at our Insurance Page!

Currently, most of our counselors are credentialed with Premera (including LifeWise plans)”, which means we are able to bill Premera insurance directly for therapy sessions with those clinicians. Because these spots are limited, availability for Premera clients may vary.

For other clients (with different insurances), we offer billing-after-service, meaning you pay for sessions at the time of your appointment and we provide a Superbill that can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.

To confirm whether New Ground Counseling is in-network with your plan, we recommend contacting your insurance provider and asking:  “Is New Ground Counseling in-network with my plan?”

Currently, we are only in network with the Premera/Blue Cross Blue Shield network (including LifeWise), but there are many different Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans and affiliates (so it’s possible your insurance is included).  Whether your sessions are covered depends on the specific plan you have.

Yes, you can!  Many clients have used HSA to pay for counseling.  You may need to confirm that your HSA provider has included therapy as an eligible health cost (i.e. some providers may include psychiatric care but not counseling).

• Our Counseling Intern, D’Vante Rolle, currently offers sessions at $50/hour. You can read more about him on his counselor bio.

• Some of our therapists offer discounted spots on their schedule. Although these spots are currently full, you may join the waitlist for one and we will notify you when it becomes available.  

• We’ve had many churches subsidize counseling for their members (i.e. the church might pay 50% or more for a certain number of sessions) as a way to get care for their congregants.  If you’re interested in this option, we’d be glad to make that request for you!

• Lastly, we've had clients space out counseling (e.g. every-other-week or monthly) as a way to help make it more affordable.

Yes!  We have many clients who prefer to do counseling from the comfort & convenience of their own home.
