You and your life, however it has unfolded, are worthy of attention, care, and curiosity. Therapy is a place to slow down and listen. Together, we explore your history, your patterns, and the ways you have learned to move through the world.

I work from a depth-oriented, psychodynamic approach. This means we look at how past experiences and relationships, as well as unconscious patterns, continue to shape your present. I also stay attuned to what unfolds between us in the room, where real and meaningful insight can emerge.

Our work is collaborative and paced with care. We make space for what feels difficult while tending to what is still growing, so you can feel more connected to yourself and your life.

I draw from trauma-informed, somatic, and parts-based perspectives. We gently explore how your experiences have impacted you, stay connected to what is happening in your body, and get to know the different parts of you that carry distinct feelings and needs. Together, we look at the deeper roots of your experience while charting a path to ways of being that feel congruent, in the hope that you can feel grounded, connected, and resilient in your daily life.

I believe that all therapy, to some degree, is grief work. Healing asks us to reimagine our assumptions in service of a more integrated, holistic form of human flourishing. It means engaging the tension and duality of being human in a world shaped by both possibility and uncertainty. This pursuit is an ongoing, evolving process that calls for continual reflection, adaptation, and care.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

I have a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. For my undergraduate degree, I have a Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Social Psychology from California State University, Chico. In my previous work, I was involved in a number of grassroots initiatives and social justice organizations, including running a drop-in center.

Therapy will always be an exercise in encounter, and I will continually work to bring my full awareness to the socio-historic context we inhabit. I am always continuing to learn, and I do that primarily through consultation and continuing education. My pronouns are she/her/hers.

ABOUT ME

In my free time, I can be found in or by the ocean, walking the beach with my friends and family, cooking, and reading—typically with a couple of creative projects underway.

CLOSING

All therapy work is, in some way, grief work.

Healing asks us to reimagine our assumptions in service of a more integrated and holistic way of living. It invites us to engage the tension and duality of being human in a world shaped by both possibility and uncertainty.

This process is not fixed, but ongoing—an evolving practice of reflection, adaptation, and care.

If you’re considering counseling, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
