New Group Launch: Sexuality Growth Group for Men (“Unwanted”) — Winter 2026
We’re excited to announce a new 10-week, online support cohort tailored to men seeking healing, growth, and freedom in the area of sexuality, identity, and emotional wholeness: Sexuality Growth Group for Men (“Unwanted”) begins February 3, 2026.
🎯 What this group is about
This is more than a typical support group — it’s a safe space to explore the story of your life: where you come from, how your past shaped your sense of sexuality, identity, and relationships, and how those patterns are still influencing your present. Over 10 sessions, group members will walk together through a guided workbook (Unwanted by Jay Stringer), reflecting on childhood, family, relationships, shame, hope, and purpose. Instead of judgment, pressure, or “fix-it” quick-fixes, this group emphasizes curiosity, compassion, and honesty — offering men a chance to re-interpret their stories in light of truth, grace, and community. 💬 Why this group matters
Too often, men are left navigating their inner lives — their sexuality, their pain, their past — alone. Shame, guilt, confusion, isolation: these are common by-products of suppressed stories and unmet emotional needs. This group aims to break that pattern.
Participants from previous cohorts describe the group as “so much more than a book study,” a place to be “open and vulnerable,” and a space where they can begin to build “a new legacy without the fear of shame or judgment.” Others say the group helped them find language for their feelings, understand the root of their anger, and walk toward honesty, clarity, and spiritual freedom.
If you’re a man who’s felt stuck, ashamed, or simply tired of carrying burdens alone — if you long for community, healing, and transformation — this group might be the place for you.
✅ Who might benefit from joining
This group is ideal for men who:
are wrestling with issues of sexuality, shame, identity, or relational pain
want a safe, compassionate environment to explore their past and current struggles
value confidentiality, honesty, community, and spiritual support
are ready to commit to weekly attendance and genuine engagement
📣 How to join / What to do next
Registration is open now. Because this is a small, closed group designed for trust and confidentiality, space is limited — so we encourage early registration to secure your spot.
If you’re unsure whether this is the right fit, or have questions about what to expect — you’re invited to reach out to New Ground Counseling (contact info available on their site) to talk with a counselor and learn more.
